Are we really going to improve achievement by telling students and their parents that they are well below the national average? Standardised assessment seems a slightly odd way to address systematic disengagement and underachievement if you ask me.
I have been trying to develop and improve my everyday skills for living. My latest is learning how to correctly sharpen a knife. Other skills learnt recently are tying a tie, washing wool and making your own household cleaners.
